I am Yvonne Martens, music teacher and founder of Muziek Lokaal in Waalre.
With great enthusiasm, I offer music lessons and workshops for children aged 4 months to 12 years, as well as for teenagers and adults. My lessons are playful, creative, and always tailored to the participants’ world and skill level.
My own music school in Waalre
Since January 1, 2025, I have been a fully independent entrepreneur with my own music school: Muziek Lokaal. The name reflects both my local involvement and my mission — to help people of all ages experience the joy of music and deepen their understanding of it. My music school is located in Waalre, at Stephan Zoetmulderdreef 80.
Music lessons for young and old
- Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers: Focused on play, movement, and language development.
- Children: Introduction to musical concepts such as pitch, tempo, and dynamics.
- Teenagers and adults: Guidance in music theory, including preparation for theory exams A, B, C, and D.
Where can you find me?
Ik werk bij Muziekonderwijs Aalst-Waalre als zzp'er. Ik geef muziekworkshops bij ’t Toverstokje, Muziek voor de Jeugd in De Pracht en muziekles bij kinderdagverblijven zoals Partou en De Plu.
Additionally, I provide music lessons at primary schools through Cultuurstation and Kunst & Cultuur Eindhoven (formerly CKE). Here, I teach singing, rhythmic and melodic play, keyboard lessons, and Boomwhacker and djembe workshops.
