Tips for parents
If you are taking music lessons with your baby, be sure to practise at home as well:
- Choose music that is suitable for babies, with gentle melodies and simple rhythms.
- Be patient and encourage your baby to explore at their own pace.
- Ensure that the activities are short and playful to keep your baby's attention.
Research shows that babies are sensitive to sounds and rhythms, which enhances their cognition and language skills.
Music also has a calming effect. Soft melodies help your baby relax and give them a sense of security, for example when sleeping or during a car journey.
